There are many ways in which you can add extra flavour to soaked nuts and seeds prior to drying them in the oven. This recipe uses apple cider vinegar which is anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and can help with symptoms ranging from high blood pressure to gastrointestinal upset. Feel free to substitute the almonds for any other nuts you like, such as cashews.
